Athens Boathouse is a wonderful place to eat. We offer a warm, unpretentious and friendly atmosphere with excellent Southern inspired food and drink, with an amazing view of Lake Athens. The Boathouse is both a casual family restaurant with a relaxed dining room and a bar/ lounge where fishermen can come relax and enjoy a cold beer after a day on the lake.
We ordered the jalapeno poppers, French toast and Fish and Chips. It was all delicious! Our server was very attentive and the food came out quickly. The Peach Bellini's were also wonderful. Thank you for making my Mother's Day Weekend amazing.
Excellent food! We've been several times for lunch and brunch. My favorite lunch item is the grilled chicken with sauteed veggies and a glass of Sauvignon blanc. The patio is lovely to sit on, especially when the weather is nice. The view of the lake is beautiful!
We have dined here several times. The food is always great, hot, and flavorful. The wait staff is always nice and very accommodating. I would definately recommend for a simple lunch or fancy dinner.
